Once the flag is given and the line judge determines a bad start, the race will be terminated. Tech judges will make class determination.ġ1 The track will consist of two (2), (6) foot lanes, each being one hundred (100) feet long from start to finish line.ġ2. Tech inspection will take place prior to the race. If track conditions and time allow, all mowers will be allowed no more than two (2) passes for test and tune.ĩ. A safety meeting will be held one (1) hour prior to race. This does not mean that you can not arrive earlier than that to help with track preparations.Ĩ.

Registration will begin two (2) hours prior to start of the race. These releases are to be signed by the minor and the parent or legal guardian of the minor.ħ. Minors will be required to have two (2) releases signed. Everyone will be required to sign an insurance release form.

The pit area is for the mower, driver of the mower and one helper in this area if needed.

Anyone in these areas will be required to sign an insurance release form. The competition and pit area will be closed.

All drivers under the age eighteen (18) must have a parental release form filled out by their parent or legal guardian at every race.Ĥ. No alcoholic beverages will be consumed before, during, or after any race, by any Drag Racing Lawn Mower racer, helper, or participant inside the racing area.ģ.

Drawbars must be a minimum of 18” long and a maximum of 20” highĬlass purse – 1st- $100.1.

Each tractor may be entered in more than one weight class, but only once in each weight class.

A tractor entered in the 8 mph class cannot be entered in the 4 mph class.

tractors and larger classes must have fenders. No hydraulic drawbars allowed, fast hitches must be locked. Drawbar must be stationary in all directions and 20 inches from top of hitching device, parallel to the ground.

Minimum drawbar length of 20 inches from center of rear axle to point of hook.

No superchargers or turbochargers allowed.

Tractor components must be from the same manufacturer, and the engine must have been available in a farm stock tractor.

Questions concerning a pullers adherence to the above rules must be brought to the track officials before the beginning of the pull.

No portion of the tractor shall interfere with the sled or sled hitch during the pull.

Second horn/light the tractor is disqualified. The driver has 3 seconds to reduce speed. Driver has the option to have the light placed on the hood of the tractor.

Speed limit for all classes will be controlled by the use of a horn and light.

A tractor entered in the 4 mph class cannot be entered in the 8 mph class.

Minimum drawbar length of 24 inches from center of rear axle to point of hook.The pulling point may not be more than 1-1/2 inches from the back of the hitching device. Drawbars must be equipped with a hitching device not more than 1 inch thick and have a 3 inch diameter opening.The engine must be naturally aspirated, no superchargers or turbochargers allowed. Tractor components must be OEM or replacement, as produced for that manufacturer and model.No weight frame or weight may extend more than 24 inches beyond front of tractor. All weights must be safely secured to the tractor on hanging supports.All exhaust must be properly attached and discharge upward above the highest point of the tractor. Engine radiators must be properly shrouded. All tractors must be equipped with a hood and grill.and smaller tractors is 15x5x38 or 16x9x34.

No dual tires, tire studs, for chains allowed. Contest open to farm tractors with rubber tires.
